Your custom saddle begins with a rawhide covered tree, built according to your type of horse and style of riding. These trees are made by the finest tree makers in America, to assure quality, stength, reliability, and above all else, comfort for your horse.

Saddles are made with the finest heavy American tanned skirting leather, extra thick bark tanned woolskins, and the finest hardware and latigos available. Saddles are oiled with pure neatsfoot oil, then given a hand rubbed finish.
All my saddles are built with several things in mind --
- the conformation and comfort of the horse,
- a comfortable seat for the rider,
- light weight while maintaining quality construction
- and stirrups that let you ride without knee strain.
|
The seats are narrower and deeper than production saddles, which gives you a very comfortable and secure seat. My saddles are built to allow maximum "forward thrust" to the stirrup leathers. Stirrups are made with the "twist-n-wrap" design, so they are set to always be in the correct position, eliminating knee strain. My in-skirt, flat plate, drop rigging style has become very popular with my customers and has become my standard, although other styles are available. This rigging is very comfortable for both you and your horse, makes a narrow seat, is strong and helps cut down weight.
